By purchasing a paid product or service through Onesee, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to this Refund and Cancellation Policy, the Onesee Terms and Conditions, the Onesee Privacy Policy, and the applicable terms of Apple, Google Play, or the payment platform used for the purchase.
1. General Policy
Payments made through Onesee may include:
- A one-time profile verification fee.
- An auto-renewable subscription.
- A non-renewing or prepaid subscription.
- A one-time premium feature purchase.
- Another paid service clearly described before purchase.
The price, validity period, benefits, renewal conditions, and applicable taxes will be displayed before the user confirms the purchase.
Refund eligibility depends on:
- The type of product purchased.
- The date of purchase.
- Whether the purchase is the user’s first-ever Onesee subscription.
- Whether the user has previously received a subscription refund.
- The reason for the request.
- Whether the purchased benefits have been substantially used.
- The platform through which the payment was processed.
- Applicable Apple App Store or Google Play policies.
- Applicable consumer-protection laws.
2. One-Time Profile Verification Fee
The profile verification fee is a one-time, non-refundable fee.
The fee may cover costs associated with:
- Initiating the profile-verification process.
- Processing submitted photographs or selfies.
- Conducting liveness, authenticity, or face-comparison checks.
- Using third-party verification or cloud-processing services.
- Reviewing verification results.
- Preventing fake, duplicate, misleading, or fraudulent accounts.
- Maintaining trust and safety systems.
Once payment of the profile verification fee is completed and the verification request is initiated, the fee will not be refunded.
The profile verification fee remains non-refundable even when:
- The user changes their mind.
- The user decides not to complete verification.
- The user submits unclear, invalid, incomplete, or unsuitable photographs.
- The user fails a selfie or face-comparison check.
- The submitted selfie does not match the profile photograph.
- The user does not follow verification instructions.
- The verification request is rejected because of misleading or suspicious information.
- The user abandons the verification process.
- The user deletes their Onesee account.
- The user stops using Onesee.
- The user uninstalls the application.
- The account is restricted or suspended for violating Onesee policies.
- The user is found to be below 18 years of age.
- The user attempts to verify another person’s identity.
- The user has already created or verified another account.
- The user is dissatisfied with the verification result.
- The user does not receive the social engagement, messages, calls, or responses they expected.
Payment of the verification fee does not guarantee that a profile will be approved or receive a verification badge.
Verification depends on successful completion of the applicable checks and compliance with Onesee’s Terms and Conditions.
2.1 Limited Exceptions
A profile verification fee may be reviewed only where:
- The same transaction was charged more than once because of a confirmed technical error.
- Payment was successfully collected but the verification service could not be initiated because of a confirmed Onesee technical failure.
- The transaction was unauthorised and verified as such by the applicable payment provider.
- A refund is required under applicable law.
- Apple, Google Play, or another authorised payment provider independently approves or requires a refund.
A failed verification, rejected verification, incomplete verification, or change of mind is not considered an Onesee technical failure.
3. Subscription Refund Eligibility
A subscription refund request may be considered only when all of the following conditions are satisfied:
- The request concerns the user’s first-ever subscription purchase on Onesee.
- The user contacts Onesee Support within seven calendar days from the original subscription purchase date.
- The user has never previously received a subscription refund from Onesee.
- The request is submitted by the genuine owner of the relevant Onesee account.
- The purchase can be verified through Apple, Google Play, or the applicable payment provider.
- The user provides the information reasonably required to review the request.
- The request is not connected with fraud, refund abuse, account manipulation, or a violation of Onesee’s policies.
- The refund is permitted by the applicable purchasing platform and applicable law.
Meeting these conditions makes a request eligible for review. It does not guarantee approval where Apple, Google Play, a payment provider, or applicable law controls the final refund decision.
4. First Subscription Purchase Only
Onesee’s subscription refund facility applies only to the user’s first subscription purchase on Onesee.
The following are not considered a first subscription purchase:
- A subscription renewal.
- A second or subsequent subscription purchase.
- A subscription purchased after a previous subscription expired.
- A resubscription after cancellation.
- A subscription purchased after deleting and recreating an account.
- A subscription purchased through another Onesee account.
- A subscription purchased using another mobile number or email address.
- A subscription purchased on another device.
- A subscription purchased through another Apple ID or Google Account.
- An upgrade or change from one subscription plan to another.
- A subscription purchased after previously receiving promotional or paid subscription access.
- A subscription purchased after an earlier subscription refund request.
Only the user’s original, first-ever paid Onesee subscription may qualify for refund consideration.
5. One Subscription Refund Per User
A user may receive a subscription refund only once during their lifetime on Onesee.
Once a subscription refund has been approved or issued, the user will not be eligible for another subscription refund for:
- A later subscription.
- A subscription renewal.
- A different subscription plan.
- A resubscription.
- A plan upgrade.
- A plan purchased through another Onesee account.
- A purchase made using another device.
- A purchase made using another mobile number or email address.
- A purchase made through another Apple ID, Google Account, payment profile, or payment method.
This restriction applies to the person, not merely to a particular account.
Onesee may use account, device, transaction, payment, verification, and other lawful fraud-prevention signals to determine whether a user has previously received a refund.
Creating another account or using another payment method to claim an additional refund is considered refund abuse and may result in:
- Rejection of the refund request.
- Removal of premium access.
- Account suspension.
- Permanent account termination.
- Prevention of future account creation.
- Reporting of fraudulent activity to the payment provider or appropriate authorities.
6. Seven-Day Request Period
A subscription refund request must be submitted within seven calendar days from the original date of the first subscription purchase.
The seven-day period begins on the calendar date shown on the applicable:
- Apple purchase receipt.
- Google Play purchase receipt.
- Onesee payment receipt.
- Payment-provider transaction confirmation.
For example, if the first subscription was purchased on 1 August, the refund request must reach Onesee Support no later than 8 August, subject to the applicable calculation and time zone used by the payment platform.
Requests submitted after the seven-day period will normally be rejected unless:
- A refund is required by applicable law.
- The relevant Platform Provider independently permits or requires it.
- The payment involved a confirmed duplicate charge.
- The payment was unauthorised.
- A confirmed technical failure prevented access to the purchased subscription.
A delay in reading the receipt, opening the application, using the subscription, or contacting support does not extend the seven-day request period.
7. How to Submit a Subscription Refund Request
To request a subscription refund, email:
Use the email subject:
Onesee Subscription Refund Request
The request should include:
- Full name.
- Onesee username.
- Registered mobile number.
- Registered email address, where applicable.
- Subscription plan name.
- Date of purchase.
- Amount paid.
- Purchasing platform: Apple App Store, Google Play, or another authorised platform.
- Apple transaction ID, Google Play order ID, or payment transaction reference.
- Screenshot or copy of the purchase receipt.
- Reason for requesting the refund.
- Confirmation that this is the user’s first subscription purchase.
- Confirmation that the user has never previously received an Onesee subscription refund.
Do not send:
- Passwords.
- OTPs.
- Complete payment-card numbers.
- Bank PINs.
- Apple ID or Google Account passwords.
- Unnecessary identity documents.
Onesee may request additional information where reasonably necessary to:
- Verify account ownership.
- Verify the transaction.
- Confirm first-purchase eligibility.
- Identify duplicate refund claims.
- Investigate fraud or abuse.
- Comply with applicable law or platform requirements.
Incomplete requests may be delayed or rejected if the user does not provide enough information to verify the purchase and eligibility.
8. Circumstances in Which Subscription Refunds May Be Refused
A subscription refund request may be rejected where:
- It is submitted more than seven calendar days after purchase.
- It is not the user’s first subscription purchase.
- The user has previously received an Onesee subscription refund.
- The purchase is a renewal.
- The purchase is a resubscription.
- The purchase is an upgrade, downgrade, or plan change.
- The user has substantially used the subscription benefits.
- The user has used premium messaging, calling, discovery, or other paid functionality extensively.
- The user received the subscription benefits as described.
- The request is based only on another user not replying.
- The request is based only on another user not accepting a request.
- The request is based only on another user not answering a call.
- The user expected a friendship, relationship, meeting, follower growth, reach, or other personal outcome.
- The account was restricted or terminated for violating Onesee’s Terms or Community Guidelines.
- The user submitted false, manipulated, or misleading information.
- The transaction cannot be verified.
- The person requesting the refund is not the account or payment owner.
- The purchase was made through an unauthorised payment channel.
- The user has filed a chargeback for the same transaction.
- The user is attempting to obtain multiple refunds using different accounts or payment methods.
- Apple, Google Play, or the payment provider rejects the refund.
- The applicable platform does not permit Appbeat to directly issue the refund.
- The request otherwise constitutes fraud or abuse.
Onesee subscription fees provide access to the features described at purchase. They do not guarantee replies, calls, connections, followers, views, relationships, or meetings with other users.
9. Subscription Renewal Refunds
Subscription renewals are generally non-refundable.
Users are responsible for cancelling an auto-renewable subscription before the next billing date.
Refunds will normally not be provided merely because:
- The user forgot to cancel.
- The user did not notice the renewal date.
- The user stopped using Onesee.
- The user uninstalled the application.
- The user deleted their Onesee account.
- The user changed their mobile number.
- The user changed their Apple ID or Google Account.
- The user did not receive a renewal reminder.
- The user did not use the renewed subscription.
- The user no longer needs the subscription.
Any exception remains subject to applicable law and the policies of Apple, Google Play, or the relevant payment provider.
10. Subscription Cancellation
Cancelling a subscription prevents future automatic renewals. Cancellation is not the same as requesting a refund.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law or platform rules:
- Cancellation does not refund the current billing period.
- The user may continue using paid benefits until the end of the already-paid subscription period.
- Premium access will expire when the current subscription period ends.
- The user will not be charged for the next billing period after a successful cancellation.
- Cancellation does not reverse earlier charges.
Users should cancel sufficiently before the displayed renewal date to avoid the next charge.
11. Apple App Store Subscription Cancellation
A subscription purchased through the iOS application must be cancelled through the Apple Account used for the purchase.
Users should manage the subscription through their Apple subscription settings.
Onesee cannot directly cancel an App Store subscription on behalf of a user.
The user is responsible for confirming that the subscription shows as cancelled in their Apple subscription settings.
Deleting an Onesee account or uninstalling Onesee does not cancel an Apple subscription.
12. Apple App Store Refund Requests
Apple generally controls the processing and approval of refunds for purchases billed through the App Store.
A user requesting an App Store subscription refund should:
- Contact Onesee Support within seven calendar days of the first subscription purchase.
- Provide the Apple transaction details and purchase receipt.
- Submit a refund request through Apple’s applicable refund process when instructed or required.
- Comply with Apple’s refund requirements.
Onesee may:
- Verify the subscription.
- Confirm whether the purchase is the user’s first subscription.
- Confirm whether a previous Onesee refund was issued.
- Provide support information.
- Revoke subscription access if a refund is approved.
Apple makes the final decision on refund eligibility for transactions that Apple controls.
Approval by Onesee does not guarantee that Apple will approve or process an App Store refund.
13. Google Play Subscription Cancellation
A subscription purchased through the Android application must normally be cancelled through the Google Account used for the purchase.
Users should manage the subscription through the Google Play subscriptions section.
The user is responsible for confirming that the subscription shows as cancelled in Google Play.
Deleting an Onesee account or uninstalling Onesee does not cancel a Google Play subscription.
After cancellation, access may continue until the end of the already-paid period, subject to Google Play’s applicable terms.
14. Google Play Refund Requests
For a Google Play subscription refund, the user must contact Onesee Support within seven calendar days of the original first subscription purchase.
Depending on Google Play’s applicable rules and technical controls, the refund may be:
- Reviewed or processed by Onesee.
- Submitted through Google Play.
- Reviewed directly by Google.
- Referred to Google Play Support.
The user may be required to provide the Google Play order ID, purchase receipt, account information, and reason for the request.
Google or Appbeat may reject the request where it does not satisfy this Policy, Google Play’s rules, or applicable law.
15. Uninstalling the App
Uninstalling Onesee does not:
- Cancel an active subscription.
- Stop automatic renewal.
- Delete the Onesee account.
- Create an automatic refund.
- Extend the refund-request period.
- Remove responsibility for earlier charges.
The user must separately cancel the subscription through Apple, Google Play, or the applicable payment provider.
16. Account Deletion
Deleting an Onesee account does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
Before or after deleting the account, the user must separately cancel the subscription through:
- Apple subscription settings.
- Google Play subscription settings.
- The applicable authorised payment provider.
Deletion of an account does not create an automatic right to:
- A subscription refund.
- A profile verification fee refund.
- A refund for unused time.
- A refund for unused premium features.
Refund eligibility continues to be governed by this Policy, applicable law, and the relevant Platform Provider’s rules.
17. Refund Processing
When a refund is approved:
- Premium access associated with the refunded transaction may be removed immediately.
- The subscription may be marked as refunded, revoked, cancelled, or expired.
- Unused benefits may be removed.
- The user may lose access before the originally displayed subscription expiry date.
- The refunded purchase cannot be restored unless the user makes a new eligible purchase.
- The user will no longer be eligible for another Onesee subscription refund.
Refunds are normally returned through the original payment method or platform.
Onesee does not provide refunds:
- In cash.
- To a different bank account.
- To another person.
- Through UPI where the original purchase was processed by Apple or Google.
- Through an alternative method selected by the user.
The time required for the refunded amount to appear depends on:
- Apple or Google processing.
- The payment provider.
- The bank or card issuer.
- The original payment method.
- The user’s country or region.
Onesee cannot guarantee a specific bank-crediting time after a platform or payment provider approves the refund.
18. Duplicate Charges
A user who believes the same purchase was charged more than once should contact:
The request should include:
- All relevant transaction IDs.
- Purchase receipts.
- Dates and amounts.
- Screenshot of the duplicate entries.
- Name of the purchasing platform.
A confirmed duplicate charge may be refunded or reversed through the applicable payment provider.
Two separate subscription purchases, purchases made through different accounts, or a subscription purchase followed by an automatic renewal are not necessarily duplicate charges.
19. Unauthorised Transactions
If a user does not recognise a transaction, they should:
- Review their Apple or Google Play purchase history.
- Confirm whether a family member or authorised person made the purchase.
- Secure the relevant Apple Account, Google Account, device, and payment method.
- Contact Apple, Google Play, the payment provider, or their bank as appropriate.
- Notify Onesee Support with the transaction details.
Onesee may investigate the associated account and may temporarily restrict access to prevent further unauthorised activity.
False claims of unauthorised payment may result in:
- Rejection of the request.
- Account suspension.
- Removal of premium access.
- Reporting to the applicable payment provider.
- Other action permitted by law.
20. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Users should contact Onesee Support before initiating a bank chargeback or payment dispute where reasonably possible.
If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated:
- Premium access may be suspended or removed.
- The transaction may be marked as disputed.
- The account may be temporarily restricted during investigation.
- Onesee may provide transaction and account records to the payment provider.
- Any approved refund request for the same transaction may be closed to avoid duplicate reimbursement.
Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in account suspension or permanent termination.
Nothing in this section prevents a user from exercising a lawful right to dispute an unauthorised or incorrect charge.
21. Account Suspension or Termination
A user is not automatically entitled to a refund when their account is restricted, suspended, or terminated for:
- Violating Onesee’s Terms and Conditions.
- Harassment or abusive conduct.
- Fraud or scams.
- Fake or duplicate account creation.
- Misuse of verification.
- Sexual or prohibited Content.
- Child-safety violations.
- Spam or automated activity.
- Refund abuse.
- Attempts to evade a previous account ban.
- Other serious policy violations.
Any mandatory right available under applicable law remains unaffected.
Users must separately cancel an active auto-renewable subscription after an account restriction or termination to prevent future billing.
22. Changes to Subscription Plans
Onesee may change future:
- Subscription prices.
- Plan names.
- Validity periods.
- Premium features.
- Promotional offers.
- Available subscription tiers.
Price changes for an existing auto-renewable subscription will be handled according to the applicable Platform Provider’s requirements.
A future change to a plan does not automatically create a refund right for a previous completed billing period.
Where a material change affects an already-paid entitlement, Onesee will provide access or another remedy as required by applicable law and platform rules.
23. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts, or overrides a mandatory consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
Where applicable law or a Platform Provider’s binding policy gives a user a stronger refund, cancellation, or withdrawal right, that mandatory right will apply.
This includes situations involving:
- Confirmed duplicate charges.
- Unauthorised transactions.
- A paid service that was not provided because of a confirmed Onesee failure.
- Other circumstances in which a refund is legally required.
24. Policy Abuse
Users must not attempt to avoid the one-refund restriction by:
- Creating multiple accounts.
- Using different phone numbers.
- Using different email addresses.
- Using different devices.
- Using different Apple IDs or Google Accounts.
- Using another person’s payment method.
- Deleting and recreating an account.
- Providing false purchase information.
- Filing duplicate refund requests through multiple channels.
- Requesting a refund after substantially consuming paid services and then repurchasing.
Onesee may link related transactions and accounts using lawful fraud-prevention information.
Policy abuse may result in rejection of refund requests, removal of paid access, account suspension, or permanent termination.
25. Changes to This Policy
Appbeat may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy to reflect:
- Changes to Onesee products.
- Changes to subscription plans.
- Changes to payment systems.
- Changes to Apple or Google Play requirements.
- Changes to applicable law.
- Fraud-prevention improvements.
- Operational or business changes.
The updated “Last Updated” date will be displayed at the top of this Policy.
Material changes will apply prospectively unless a retrospective change is required by law or benefits the user.
The version in effect on the purchase date will generally apply to that purchase, subject to mandatory legal and platform requirements.
